Justin Heasley graduated from Butler University with a degree in music education in the spring of 2022, and is currently the battery coordinator at Noblesville High School and a quad technician for Fishers High School. His marching career consists of several world class ensembles, all completed under the direction of Derrick Shannon: Veritas (2019-2022), Madison Scouts (2019), and Blue Knights (2021). As a recent college graduate, Justin is excited and eager to continue his career in marching and concert percussion education.


Webb Sheely : Tenor Staff

Webb Sheely is a percussion performer, educator and arranger/composer from Columbia, Missouri. Webb is currently the Director of the Indiana University Marching Hundred Drumline and is an Associate Instructor with the Percussion Studio. At Indiana University, he is currently studying to get his Masters in Percussion Performance and also holds a Bachelors in Music Education from the University of North Texas. Webb has studied with renowned educators including Paul Rennick, Sandi Rennick, Mark Ford, Christopher Deane, Stockton Helbing, Joseph Gramley, Kevin Bobo and John Tafoya.

Webb has performed as a soloist and in chamber groups across the country and has taken multiple high placements in international percussion competitions across the last 6 years. Webb’s leadership skills have been applied in his current positions as well as previous principal positions with school ensembles at multiple universities. Webb has taught the Booneville and Azle High School Drumlines, as well as the UNT Green Brigade Quadline. In the Spring of 2022, Webb student taught in the Northwest ISD cluster with renowned educator John Bingaman. Webb is a Professional Member of the Percussive Arts Society (PAS) and the Texas Music Educators Association and currently serves on the Marching Committee with PAS.


Josh Varab : Tenor Staff

Josh currently serves as the Human Resources Coordinator at Indiana Youth Services Association in Indianapolis, IN. He was born and raised in Elkhart, IN and journeyed to the Indianapolis area in 2018. He attended Bethel College in Mishawaka, IN, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a focus in non profit business. During college, he performed with several ensembles as well as arranging for and teaching the Bethel drumline.

Josh spent two years marching quads with the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps and has taught and arranged for several marching bands in northern and central Indiana for the past eight years including Concord High School, Penn High School, Carmel High School, Center Grove High School and Ben Davis High School. Josh has also taught at the Madison Scouts and Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps. He continues to free-lance as an educator with various programs in Indiana and is excited to join for his 5th year at Veritas!

Travis Warren : Tenor staff

Travis has been an Indianapolis resident for over 10 years. Over the past decade he has participated in numerous percussion groups both as a member and on staff.

His marching career started with the Avon High School Marching Band/Indoor Percussion playing quads. Shortly after graduating in 2015 he joined Legacy Indoor Percussion for their 2016 season and followed up with two consecutive seasons with the Phantom Regiment in 2016/2017.

Travis has been an instructor for many high schools in the Indianapolis area  including Avon High School 2015, Decatur Central 2015, Lawrence Central 2016-17, and Fishers High School 2017.

Travis is currently working in the restaurant industry and lives on the southeast side of Indianapolis. He is also in an Indianapolis-based progressive rock group with a few of his life-long music friends. This will be his second year on staff with Veritas.
