Leo Bergin : Tenor staff
Leo is a percussionist from Saint Louis, MO who has spent nearly a decade involved in the marching arts.
His background comes from a variety of independent marching ensembles, having also marched Veritas in 2023. These ensembles include Freedom Percussion, Connexus, Carolina Crown, and aging out with Rhythm X in 2025.
Leo has worked with several ensembles outside of Veritas, such as the Battalion DBC, Fishers High School, and has been a clinician for several other schools across the country.
This will be his second year on the quad staff, and he’s excited to push the talent and culture of this ensemble to a better place.
Geoffrey Curtin : Tenor staff
Geoffrey Curtin marched in The Woodlands High School Marching Band competing at the national high school level. He then went to Indiana University for school, where he continued developing his passion for music, leadership, and education. Geoffrey’s marching experience also includes Guardians Drum & Bugle Corps in 2021 and the Boston Crusaders in 2022, 2024, and 2025. Geoffrey received two DCI silver medals and a gold medal as well as a Fred Sanford High Percussion Award in 2025.
Geoffrey has taught the drumlines at The Woodlands High School, Edgewood High School, and Decatur Central High School. Geoffrey is a Sales Engineer at Keyence Corporation and he teaches the University of Cincinnati drumline.
Wesley Kopis : Tenor staff
Wesley Kopis is a musician and educator now based out of Indianapolis, Indiana. After graduating from Martinsville High School, he has performed with Cincinnati Tradition, INov8 Winter Percussion, Colts, and Veritas in 2020 and 2022. After aging out with this group, Wesley discovered a passion for being a professional educator, transferring to Indiana University to study the field while working with several independent and scholastic ensembles. He has since graduated and moved to Indianapolis, working as a US History teacher and creating electronic music in his free time.
Wesley is excited to contribute to Veritas as they take their next step as an organization in 2027. In addition to his professional skills and experience, Wesley will be bringing an unyielding energy and love for the performing arts, recognizing its incredible power in shaping the lives of young musicians.
