Media Staff


Tony McCrackin : Photographer

Tony McCrackin is a freelance photographer based out of Indianapolis, specializing both in the performing arts and in portraiture. Within the marching arts he currently works with several organizations, including Drum Corps International, Music For All, FloMarching, Performing Arts Photography by Bateman, the Boston Crusaders, and 317 Performing Arts.

Tony has been on the 317 Performing Arts media team in several roles since 2019, including Director of Marketing and Media. Tony is a strong advocate for media in the marching arts as a whole - working and volunteering as a photographer across the activity. He also helps moderate a discord community of over 400 people working or hoping to work in marching arts media at all levels of the activity and across the country, helping them refine their skills to better serve their ensembles and be set up for professional success.

Tony aged out as a tuba player with the Boston Crusaders in 2017, and graduated from Central Michigan University in 2019 with a degree in Music.


nora thompson : Media

Nora has been a social media manager for 317 Performing Arts since summer 2022 and enjoys the way social media brings us all together. She loves being creative, getting to capture life’s moments on camera, and is excited to return to the 317 Performing Arts media team again this year.

 Nora has been a part of Veritas since 2020, marching on the visual line in the 20-22 seasons. She joined the staff as a visual technician for the 23-24 seasons. She has also served as a choreographer for various schools around the Indianapolis area, including Zionsville and Fishers. Nora is taking a step back from the visual side of things as she pursues new life endeavors. She is thrilled to be able to remain an integral member of the staff for Veritas and 317 Performing Arts.


Christina Stevens : Marketing & Media lead

Christina Stevens is a social media marketing and brand manager from the Nashville, TN area. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee where she studied Public Relations, Business Administration and Entrepreneurship. Currently, Christina resides in Indianapolis where she works for Music for All as Marketing Coordinator. 

Previously, Christina worked with the Blue Knights Drum & Bugle Corps Media as Social Media Coordinator and Team Lead. Currently, she works with the The Cavaliers Drum & Bugles Corps as Digital Media Lead. Christina has also worked with a number of marching arts organizations such as Music for All/Bands of America, Winter Guard International and SouthCoast Music & Design, to provide social media strategy and content creation across 8 platforms. As a former band kid, Christina enjoys spending her time around the marching arts as much as she can.


Cameron Elder : Videographer

Cameron Elder is a videographer and photographer from Fort Wayne, Indiana, with a deep passion for storytelling and visual creativity. Since starting his journey in videography at just 11 years old, Cameron has honed his skills across various projects, including his notable role as the main videographer and editor for the Blue Knights Drum & Bugle Corps during the summer of 2024. He managed all aspects of the corps' video content throughout the season, from short-form social media videos to longer documentary-style productions.

Cameron’s approach to each project is rooted in creative storytelling, using his skills to craft narratives that leave a lasting impact. His love for videography and photography extends beyond capturing moments—it's about making meaningful connections and inspiring audiences through visual media. Whether working in the performing arts or collaborating on new creative ventures, Cameron is committed to delivering work that resonates deeply with viewers. He is proud to be a part of the Veritas staff.


Emma Remley-Cook : Photographer

Emma Remley-Cook is an Avon, IN resident that serves as a band director at Avon Middle School North. In addition to her middle school band responsibilities she is also on staff with the Avon Marching Black and Gold, Avon World Drumline, Avon Indoor Winds, and most recently, the Veritas admin team!

Emma has a B.M. in Music Education from Butler University. While studying music education at Butler, she taught at several schools around Indiana including Carmel High School, Fishers High School, and Marion Harding High School. After graduating from Butler, Emma taught with the middle school and marching arts programs at both Center Grove and Fishers.

In her free time, Emma participates in a bowling league with her family, rock climbs, and spends with her husband and four cats!


James Childers : Media

James is a freelance photographer, videographer, and percussion educator based in Indianapolis operating Fortissimo Media. He works with Drum Corps World, Elevate Performing Arts, Photograph by Bateman, and Plainfield High School. James currently serves as the Director of Marketing for Elevate Winds. 

James started working in the marching arts media realm in 2019 and joined the Drum Corps World staff as a photographer in 2023. He has worked with numerous clients as a videographer and photographer, including Tama – Bergerault, United Percussion, Elevate, Blue Knights, Gold Drum and Bugle Corps, Guardians, and Plainfield High School.

At the educational level, James currently teaches at Plainfield High School. He has worked with Veritas, Legacy Percussion, Shadow  Percussion, Guardians, Southwind, and several high school programs nationwide. James is a proud Vic Firth and Zildjian educator.
