Equipment & Inventory Manager

Summary:

317 Performing Arts is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Equipment & Inventory Manager to oversee the organization’s equipment, supplies, and inventory management processes. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations for all our rehearsals, performances and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the organization’s inventory of equipment, supplies, and materials used for rehearsals, performances, and clinics.

  • Develop and implement inventory management policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency in tracking and maintaining inventory levels.

  • Collaborate with the administrative team to fulfill equipment and supply needs for rehearsals, performances, and other events.

  • Ensure proper handling and care of equipment and supplies.

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and organizational policies related to equipment use and transportation/storage.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in inventory management, preferably in a performing arts, entertainment, or events environment (preferred, not necessary).

  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with others.  

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google Drive apps (Docs, Sheets, etc.).

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of percussion equipment and general equipment maintenance practices.

  • Flexibility to attend some weekend rehearsals and shows as needed during the season.
