Equipment & Inventory Manager
Summary:
317 Performing Arts is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Equipment & Inventory Manager to oversee the organization’s equipment, supplies, and inventory management processes. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations for all our rehearsals, performances and events.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the organization’s inventory of equipment, supplies, and materials used for rehearsals, performances, and clinics.
Develop and implement inventory management policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency in tracking and maintaining inventory levels.
Collaborate with the administrative team to fulfill equipment and supply needs for rehearsals, performances, and other events.
Ensure proper handling and care of equipment and supplies.
Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and organizational policies related to equipment use and transportation/storage.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience in inventory management, preferably in a performing arts, entertainment, or events environment (preferred, not necessary).
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with others.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google Drive apps (Docs, Sheets, etc.).
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of percussion equipment and general equipment maintenance practices.
Flexibility to attend some weekend rehearsals and shows as needed during the season.
