Will Strantz.JPG

Will Strantz : Alumni Coordinator

Will’s passion for percussion began at a young age. There was always some form of drum kit in the house growing up. His dad being a musician, started teaching him at home until he began taking private lessons in 2nd grade. Will participated in band throughout middle school and went on to join the drumline at John Adams high school for 4 marching band seasons and 2 indoor seasons. These early years of drumline instilled the values that would carry him to a higher level of drive and love for the marching arts.

In May 2018, Will graduated from Purdue University with a degree in creative writing where he developed not only his writing skills, but his communication skills as well. Along with his honed writing experience, he brings 15 years of percussion experience including 4 seasons with Legacy Performing Arts and 2 seasons with the Purdue All-American Marching Band.
